Cricket was first played in southern England in the 16th century. By the end of the 18th century, it had developed into the national sport of England. 

The expansion of the British Empire led to cricket being played overseas and by the mid-19th century the first international matches were being held. Now the game of cricket has been changed a lot as it was in the begining of cricket. Here we are presenting some singnificant moments in cricket who changed the style and shape of this game.

The First International Test Match

First International Test match was played between Australia (a combined New South Wales and Victorian team ) and England at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in 1877 with Australia winning by 45 runs. Charles Bannerman made historic test century by scoring 165 retired hurt. It was the first Test century on debut, the first person to do it in their countries first Test.
